About
Evanston Baseball is a non-profit organization that provides baseball opportunities to Evanston
youth ages 8-19 years. We provide youth with leagues that allow them to grow as baseball players along
with life lessons for the players as they grow to adulthood. Our baseball program is solely based on
funds raised by dues and sponsorships from local businesses.
Mission
The primary objective of the league is to instill in the league participants of the City of Evanston and surrounding communities the standards of good sportsmanship, honesty, loyalty, courage, and respect for authority. All board members, officers, coaches, team/league volunteers and players should recognize that attainment of exceptional athletic skill and winning games is of little importance to the league.
The secondary objective of the league is to improve the quality of baseball in the community by improving player skills and knowledge of the game of baseball. The result of this objective is to have more players advancing to the next level with improved skills and knowledge.
